Wear and Carry Class Overview:
This is a 16-hour class, mandated by the State of Maryland, pertaining to firearm possession, usage and safety, as well as self and home defense, home safety, care and cleaning of firearms and firearms qualification. This class includes your HQL.
What to bring?
A lunch, memo pad, pen/pencil, and your own ear and eye protection (if you have them). If not, ear and eye protection will be provided.
What NOT TO BRING?
Do not bring any firearms or ammunition. Leave them at home or secured in your vehicle. No personal firearms or ammunition will be allowed in the classroom.
FIREARMS and AMMUNITION will be provided for your training.
What to wear?
Please wear closed toe shoes, such as sneakers or boots and long pants with a belt that can accommodate an "Outside the Waist" holster. Please no shirts with low cut neck lines. Dress for the weather because qualifications will be outside.
Please be on time so that we can settle in and commence class promptly.
